ASAC Rocky Bigham
Assistant Special Agent in Charge Bigham has been with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation since 2007 and is currently tasked with training force investigators within the GBI.
Assistant Special Agent in Charge Rocky Bigham started his employment as a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in 2007. He first started working undercover narcotics followed by overt narcotic investigations. In 2011, Rocky was transferred to the Atlanta Regional Office where he conducted general investigations to include homicide, public corruption, large-scale thefts, officer involved use of force, child molestations, and other investigations. Rocky was also assigned to the FBI Public Corruption Task Force for two years. In June of 2016, he was promoted to the rank of Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Atlanta Regional Office.
Rocky has been tasked with developing and teaching Special Agents with the GBI how to conduct use of force investigations. He has traveled around the State of Georgia and taught other law enforcement officers about these types of investigations. He has been certified as a use of force instructor through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) and is a certified instructor through the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.). He has also received certification through the Force Science Institute. Rocky received a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Alabama.
